Bring learning to life on the farm

At Seed to Table, students learn by digging in—exploring the soil, observing insects and pollinators, harvesting vegetables, tasting new foods, and discovering the many connections that make a farm ecosystem thrive.

Farm Classroom visits invite students to approach the natural world with curiosity, practice problem-solving, and build a deeper connection to food and the land. Learning at Seed to Table is active, seasonal, and rooted in our working farm.

What to Expect

Bring your class or group to Seed to Table for a 90-minute, hands-on learning experience on the farm.

Each visit can be adapted to your students’ age and classroom learning goals. Depending on the season and your group’s interests, students might:

• Explore the farm ecosystem and discover pollinators and decomposers

• Harvest vegetables and prepare a simple farm-fresh snack

• Investigate how seeds travel and disperse

• Learn what plants need to grow

• Participate in garden jobs

• Explore the farm through hands-on activities and scavenger hunts

Up to 20 students: $240
Up to 30 students: $360
Up to 60 students: $720

Everyone should be able to learn on the farm

We want Farm Classroom visits to be accessible to all schools and students. Cost should not prevent a group from participating.

Seed to Table seeks grant funding to help offset program costs and make farm visits accessible to more students. If the listed fee isn’t workable for your group, please let us know what is possible for your school or organization when you submit your inquiry.
